When you go out together think about your date how you think they are doing on the date.

Remember that you are auditioning your date so ask questions that will give you some insight into the person. So ask those leading questions and see how they react and answer you.

When the date has ended and you both have parted company, run the date over in your mind and think back to the evening and evaluate it. Ask yourself how it was and how the other person did, make sure you are now making excuses for them in any way.

Imagine your date as a parent, a provider for a family, or even as an in law. Think about what they would be like ten years from now and how they would act. How does that image fit with your image of the kind of partner you want?

Go on dates where you spend time talking about goals, future aspirations, money, and children.

Never settle for less than you deserve. There are many good partners out there and they are also looking for you.
